African American Scholarship
We find the most race discrimination among the population known as African American in the country during the past decades. As a result they have little chances for improving their life conditions. They face the obstacles even in study.
The new African Americans generation tries to enter the world made initially only for the all-White society and the all-White activities such as Medicine, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, and Business.
Fortunately, there are few institutions that provide the abovementioned population of African American with an opportunity to learn and improve in the given field of study.
In particular, the United Negro College Fund assisted African Americans to get education for years. The financial aid of this establishment counts 39 Historically Black Universities and Colleges on the territory of the United States. The money support was fed from charity of various organizations with desire to open for the African Americans school horizons. Among them are The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funds and the Bank of America.
Let view closer those 39 Historically Black Universities.
The 39 Historically Black Colleges and Universities are higher schools with lower fees for African Americans unlike in other colleges in America. It doesn’t mean that these institutions are regarded as backcountry community colleges. They are quite popular in the specific areas like Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
The feminine special college are in pace with the progressive time when African American women may study and graduate with a degree. The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. provides 2 scholarships for awarding of the women with the purpose of getting undergraduate level.
We cannot but mention also the Development Fund for Black Students in Science and Technology.
